East Coast Park

Papa and Mama initially wanted to bring me to the beach to play with the sand and build sandcastles.

See, I've got all my barang barang ready!

But because of their dilly dallying, by the time we stepped onto the sand at East Coast Park, it was already 10am and the sun was so hot and glaring.

So we just walked around,

enjoyed a little bit of sea breeze

and terrorised play with some cute doggies!

Ok, the next time they say want to bring me to the beach, I'll make sure they leave the house at 7am.

I love Go-Go Bambini!

Woohoo! I was a very happy girl on Monday! Mama and Papa brought me to a place where I could expand my latent energy! They brought me to this indoor children’s entertainment centre at Dempsey Hill, called Go-Go Bambini.

This was taken at Ikea, where I always look longingly at the kids playing inside the ballpit.



Finally, no more looking through glass windows, I get to join in the fun!!!!

The Junior Soft-Play area, for 0- 3yr olds.



Chey, chicken feed! I'm more interested in this: Interactive PlayScape for 3-11 yr olds. Ha ha, so challenging!



It's no easy job crawling after a running toddler who has no sense of danger!

While I was happily floating around in the ballpit (yes, I prefer to lay there, face up, rather then moving around which is quite difficult to do cuz I'm too short!), this Caucasian boy jumped into the ball pit and started to throw the balls at me. Was he trying to 'tackle' me? Or was he just being naughty? Anyways, mama told him off! Yeah! I got the whole ball pit to myself again!



After a tiring workout, we went over to the Ben & Jerry's ranch next door for some yummy treats.

Let's go to the zoo!

We finally brought Tricia to the zoo! It's a good time now as she can identify the common animals, which before this were just pictures in her books. Now these animals have come to life! She got so excited just seeing those life size figurines at the entrance.

She "wahhed" at the tigers, lions, polar bear, kangaroos, rhinos, giraffes etc which we adults so enthusiastically point out to her. The only pity was that we didn't get to see the farm animals and the elephants.

Then there was this little incident which showed that our ugly-Singaporeans-when-overseas lable is not exclusive. We were at the seating area waiting for the sea lion show to start. We left the stroller at the 1st row which was meant for the physically handicapped, and sat a step above (ready to move it away should anyone wants to sit there). Then this ang moh family came and asked if we could move the stroller as they wanted to sit there. Before we could move it, the ang moh lady rudely pushed our stroller to the side, which incidentally was the middle of the walkway, and put her own stroller there. So inconsiderate! Tsk!

Anyways, it was a fun trip and we promise to come back for the elephants!
