Let's go to the zoo!
We finally brought Tricia to the zoo! It's a good time now as she can identify the common animals, which before this were just pictures in her books. Now these animals have come to life! She got so excited just seeing those life size figurines at the entrance.
She "wahhed" at the tigers, lions, polar bear, kangaroos, rhinos, giraffes etc which we adults so enthusiastically point out to her. The only pity was that we didn't get to see the farm animals and the elephants.
Then there was this little incident which showed that our ugly-Singaporeans-when-overseas lable is not exclusive. We were at the seating area waiting for the sea lion show to start. We left the stroller at the 1st row which was meant for the physically handicapped, and sat a step above (ready to move it away should anyone wants to sit there). Then this ang moh family came and asked if we could move the stroller as they wanted to sit there. Before we could move it, the ang moh lady rudely pushed our stroller to the side, which incidentally was the middle of the walkway, and put her own stroller there. So inconsiderate! Tsk!
Anyways, it was a fun trip and we promise to come back for the elephants!

Music Appreciation
My hopes of Tricia being a classy sophisticated lass playing Mozart pieces are dashed. Look at the small ah lian grooving to loud Hokkein songs!!!

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival everyone!
I've got my mooncakes and a cute lantern which plays an orhbit tune, let's party!!!!
Mama says I really know today's Mooncake Festival cuz I inisisted (read: cried/fussed) on bringing my lantern along when we leave the house this morning!
