The Great Singapore Sale
Have you started your GSS shopping?
Brought Trish to the supermarket and set her free to grab whatever she wants. Guess what she took?
Well done, Miss Y!!!!!

How much is that doggie at the window?
Trish loves animals. She can point out all the cats, dogs, birds, fish in her story books. When we have breakfast at the prata stall near my office, she entertains herself by looking at the birds.
She also loves to pat and talk to the ornamental cat, rabbits, dogs etc. at her grandparents' place.
When we're too busy to entertain her, we'll put her at the gate so that she can terrorise the neighbour's dog!

Hottie
Duncha Wish Your Girlfriend was Hot Like Me?
Duncha?
I was a hot babe, for all of 3 days.
Had fever, runny nose, cough and phlegm and wheezing.... Doc suspect is the new virus that has been going round attacking babies like me. She said if it's bad I may have to be hospitalised.
See all the meds, ohh, you can't imagine how much I HATE them! Papa has to hold me down while mama pries open my mouth to syringe the meds down my throat. Hee hee (evil grin), I wonder how is my 婆婆 going to handle me on her own!!!!!
The machine is called a nebuliser. I had to be nebulised 3 times a day. It sounds scary, but it's nothing much actually. Mama puts in some medicine, turn-on the machine and I have to inhale the vapour/mist emitted. It's supposed to help open up my airways so that I can breathe easier. So what's the big hoo-ha right? The problem is, I cannot sit still for even 5 seconds!!! How you expect me to take a blue plastic holder with tube being shoved under my nose with fumes blocking my view, for 10 whole minutes? Simply irritating!
Thank God after my review yesterday, doc says I don't have to use it now. My fever's gone, I should recover in 1 to 1 1/2 weeks' time. Keeping my fingers crossed!

A poem for my darling
I love you
Author: Author Unknown
I loved you from the very start,
You stole my breath, embraced my heart.
Our life together has just begun,
You're part of me my little one.
As mother with child, each day I grow,
My mind is filled with thoughts of you.
I'd daydream of the things we'd share,
Like late-night bottles and teddy bears.
Like first steps and skinned knees,
Like bedtime stories and ABC's.
I thought of things you'd want to know,
Like how birds fly and flowers grow.
I thought of lessons I'd need to share,
Like standing tall and playing fair.
When I first saw your precious face,
I prayed your life be touched with grace.
I thanked our Heavenly Father up above,
And promised you unending love.
Each night I lay you down to sleep,
I gently kiss your head and cheek.
I count your little fingers and toes,
I memorize your eyes and nose.
I linger at the bedroom door,
Awed each day I love you more.
Through misty eyes, I dim the light,
I whisper "I Love You" every night.
I loved you from the very start,
You stole my breath, embraced my heart.
As mother and child our journey's begun,
My heart's yours forever, little one.
Here's wishing all mommies, especially mine, a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Essay Question
"What do I want to be when I grow up?"
Since I have the time now, I shall start on my Primary 1 homework.
An IT geek?
A Grand Prix racer?
A telephone operator?
